We routinely develop occupational support programmes and recommendations to aid patients' re-introduction to the workplace, including:
assessing the suitability of the patient’s job and occupational options, given their current clinical condition
educating employers, where appropriate, on the management of any residual disability
physically assessing the patient’s work place and making recommendations on appropriate ergonomic adjustments in order to accommodate the patient’s condition
an overview of the required work place features in order to accommodate any disability
liaising with employers on appropriate adjustment to the patient’s job and work environment, should this be required
clinical support for the ongoing management of the patients condition, where appropriate
recommendations on occupational training that would assist in the re-employment of the patient.
